Government & Education, includes tips on résumé writing and job searching

  • http://www.youth.gc.ca : General site on creating a résumé and looking for work. Designed with youth in mind.
  • http://www.jobbank.gc.ca : Government of Canada job bank, with tips on creating a résumé.
  • http://www.jobsetc.gc.ca :Another Government of Canada Job resources site.
  • http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca : Another GoC site (is this a mirror of the previous sites?)
  • https://alis.alberta.ca : Government of Alberta site that specifically addresses career planning and job seeking for new graduates. Other resources also available.
  • Search the local post-secondary school web sites in your region for employment

  • http://www.rawresume.com/ to help build a résumé. Seems like a good place to start.
  • http://www.resumebaking.com/ another résumé building site. You build your résumé by entering your personal data. It's a good guide but be cautious about submitting personal information into a web site. It does allow you to bypass entering some of that personal information.
